Erika Betancourt joined the Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF) the summer of 2019 as the Scholarship Specialist.

She leads scholarship trainings throughout central Washington to help students fill out award-winning scholarship applications, coordinates scholarship selections and promotes WAEF scholarships.

As a previous WAEF scholar and first-generation college student, Erika recognizes the importance of having a helping hand and wants to give back to her community by helping students achieve their academic and career goals.

Erika received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a Specialization in Population Health from Central Washington University and is now living in Wenatchee, Washington where she grew up.
