Kailan & Toni-Lynn
Kailan Dunn is a trusted sales advisor at H.R. Spinner Corporation. He has a degree in agricultural economics and management from Washington State University and has specialized in agricultural lending since 2007.  Prior to joining H.R. Spinner Corporation, Kailan worked for Northwest Farm Credit Services and Banner Bank. Kailan is the first member of the Washington Apple Education Foundation (WAEF) board of directors who was also a scholarship recipient.  He received WAEF support throughout his undergraduate years at WSU.  In 2016, Kailan was elected chairman of the WAEF board of directors.  He is currently the chairman of the foundation’s scholarship selection committee and a member of the resource development committee.  Additionally, Kailan is a former officer with the Yakima Pomological Club and continues to be involved with the association. Kailan grew up on a family farm in Naches, Washington.  He and his wife recently purchased their own home and orchard in Naches where they are raising their two daughters. Toni Lynn Adams originates from Prosser, Washington. Her roots in the apple industry start with the family apple orchard in the Yakima Valley. She cultivated hands on agricultural experience through raising livestock, assisting in farm operations and leadership involvement with ag-based youth organizations. She attended Washington State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication with an Agricultural Systems minor. Prior to her current role, Toni Lynn worked as a field scout for a crop consulting agency and a production support team member for Microsoft Production Studios. Toni Lynn joined the Washington Apple Commission team in the summer of 2018. Her role facilitates communication between the international representatives and industry members, develops outreach efforts to grower membership and strengthens educational awareness of promotional activities to the industry community. She was selected as a 2019 Young Apple Leader by the USApple Association to advocate for the apple industry in Washington D.C. and currently serves as a Washington Apple Education Foundation Scholarship Committee member.
