Jenifer Mandujano turned determination into a healing force. Raised in Yakima and inspired by her parents’ sacrifices, Jenifer pursued her dream of becoming a nurse at the University of Washington. Her journey was not easy—she faced setbacks, reapplied to nursing school, and worked as a CNA to prepare herself for the rigors ahead. But she never gave up. From pediatric rotations at Seattle Children’s to transplant care at UW Medical Center, Jenifer brought compassion, skill, and cultural humility to every patient she served. Her story is a powerful reminder that perseverance, purpose, and community support can turn challenges into triumphs—and dreams into reality
